How the Marvel Rivals cheats perform in Season 2 with the Phoenix update — ESP tracking, aimbot adjustments, and what changed in the meta.

Marvel Rivals — GUIDE

Season 2 and What Changed for Cheats

Marvel Rivals Season 2 brought significant changes to the hero roster and map layouts. Phoenix was added as a new hero, several existing heroes received ability reworks, and two new maps entered the rotation. Here's how these changes affect the overlay configuration and what you need to adjust.

Phoenix: The New Variable

Phoenix is Season 2's flagship addition. For cheat overlay purposes, she introduces several complications:

Flame Clone Tracking

Phoenix's flame clone ability creates visual decoys that confuse positional tracking. The ESP overlay tracks all instances — but the key is using health bars to identify the real Phoenix. Clones have zero or minimal health, while the real Phoenix shows her actual HP on the health bar.

Setting: Enable health bars and set minimum display threshold to filter out zero-health decoys.

Regen Phase Detection

Phoenix regenerates HP at specific thresholds. The health bar in the overlay visually shows this — you'll see the bar refill rapidly. This is your cue to immediately burst:

Watch for the health bar refill animation in your ESP

Aimbot + rapid fire during the 1–2 second pre-regen window is the optimal kill window

After the regen triggers, her HP jumps — it becomes a longer fight

Season 2 Meta Changes

New Map Rotations

Two new maps in Season 2 feature more verticality and more interior spaces. ESP wallhack becomes more valuable than ever — knowing enemy positions through walls in enclosed interior spaces is a significant advantage.

Adjust: Increase wallhack draw distance in enclosed maps (from 100m to 150m). The maps' shorter engagement ranges mean more enemies are at medium-range through walls rather than long-range.

Hero Ability Reworks

Several mobility heroes received ability rework buffs that make them faster and harder to track manually. Aimbot prediction settings matter more in Season 2 for these heroes:

Enable prediction: Critical for all high-mobility heroes in Season 2

Increase FOV slightly: 160–180px instead of 150px base to account for faster movement

Smooth 6–7: Same as previous season, this range is still optimal

Recommended Season 2 Config

Based on Season 2 meta, here's an updated baseline config:

ESP

Corner boxes, 1px, red

Name tags: on

Health bars: on (both bar and numeric)

Distance: shown up to 120m (up from 100m for new larger maps)

Skeleton: on for Phoenix, off for others (performance)

Enemies-only: always on

Aimbot

Bone target: pelvis (more reliable against mobile Season 2 heroes)

FOV: 160px

Smooth: 7

Prediction: on

Keybind: mouse button 4

Wallhack

Snaplines: on, 1px, red

Through-wall boxes: on

Draw distance: 120m

Save this as "season2-ranked". Load it each session for optimal Season 2 ranked performance.

What Hasn't Changed

The core external overlay approach is unchanged and still undetected. No bans reported after Season 2 launch. The detection profile of the overlay remains identical because the anti-cheat updates in Season 2 targeted memory-based cheats, not external overlays.
